TERMS and CONDITIONS

for the purchase of goods and services from Ecliptech Innovations

 

 

DISCLAIMER:

Ecliptech Innovations “Ecliptech” accepts no liability for any damage, injury or loss of life resulting from the purchase of our products.  We recommend that all Ecliptech products are inspected and installed by the appropriate qualified tradesperson.  All products offered are subject to availability.

 

WARRANTY:

Ecliptech products are covered with a 2 year warranty from date of sale.  The warranty covers manufactured defects, not damage or misuse.  Anyone wishing to make a claim should first contact Ecliptech to determine if there is indeed a fault, or if the items configuration/installation may be the cause.  If the item is returned to Ecliptech and there is no defect found, the customer will be responsible for return postage.

 

The purchaser is responsible for returning the goods to Ecliptech when making any claim.   If you purchased direct from Ecliptech, you do not require a receipt (given valid identification).  If you did not purchase from Ecliptech, the receipt of sale is required.

 

Ecliptech prides itself on high quality products, customer support and targets zero defects for all its products.   If you have an Ecliptech product that is damaged, depending on the type and extent of the damage, we may be able to repair it.  Please contact us.

 

REFUNDS:

Goods may at our discretion be returned for a refund providing that the following conditions are met:

 

  • The request must be received by Ecliptech within 14 days of the date that we recorded for shipment (21 days for international orders).
  • The goods must be returned to Ecliptech within 7 days (14 days for international) from the date of the above request.
  • The claim must include the full order details – order number, purchaser, address, and value.
  • The returned goods must be undamaged, unaltered and in saleable condition with their original wrapping.
  • The goods must be returned to us at the expense of the purchaser making the request, using a traceable shipping method.
  • The cost of postage that we paid when sending the goods will be deducted from the refund.  If the goods have not yet been dispatched from Ecliptech, or for international orders not yet booked for collection by the courier, then postage is not deducted from the refund.
  • A restocking/processing fee of $15 will be deducted from the refund.

 

CHARGEBACK (DISPUTE) FEE:

The bank charges a hefty fee for processing charge-backs (disputes).  If you make application for a charge-back, Ecliptech will pass on this fee unless it is shown that Ecliptech is at fault.   If you have a dispute, please talk to us first and we will provide our prompt attention.

 

PRICES:

Ecliptech reserves the right to changes the price of any product without notice.  Prices for accepted orders are held at the price at the time of order for a period of 14 days.  Prices do not include any applicable import duties, taxes or fees that may be associated with international shipments.

 

FORCE MAJEURE:

Ecliptech will not be in breach of its terms and conditions with the customer for any delays in performing, or failure to perform, its obligations under these terms and condition if delays or failure were due to cause or circumstance beyond Ecliptech’s control.
